The bottom tier was Dark Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Filling. The top cake was Vanilla Bean White Velvet with Strawberry Filling. The cake was iced in buttercream. The purple accents were made out of fondant and dusted with luster dust! Those bows sure do take lots of practice!

Thank you Erica! I found a pattern online, printed it out in the size I needed, wrapped it around a shortening can, covered it with a layer of wax paper, taped it to the can. Then I extruded gumpaste from a clay gun and worked it into the pattern. I let it dry for a few days on the can and then CAREFULLY pulled off the wax paper, let it dry for a few more days and then colored it with the luster mixed with vodka. Hope that helps! Just be cautious because the are SUPER fragile! I really don’t like to move it any more than I have to!
Good luck!
Emily
